Fussy eater no more
From Krystal
Fussy eater no more

My boy was refusing to eat anything, he lost a lot of weight and I was very concerned for him, as he was starving himself. After taking him to the vet and finding out that there is nothing actually wrong with him, aside from being insanely fussy. I was determined to find something he would eat, after buying bag after bag of different dry foods, only to have him turn up his nose. I eventually stumbled across Ziwi, it looked fantastic, but I didn't want to buy another bag of food to find out that he won’t eat it. So I emailed Ziwi and was very impressed to have received samples of every recipe available. I put the food down and to my surprise he licked the bowl clean, I couldn't believe it. After all this trouble, I finally found something my dog will eat and he’s starting to put the weight back on, thank goodness. Couldn’t be happier with Ziwi, not only is it a quality product, but the customer service is phenomenal. Won’t buy anything else, Ziwi is a life saver for me and my boy. Thank you Ziwi

Ziwi a cure for cat's kidney failure

I feed my cat Ziwi Peak because it cured my cat's kidney failure.
She was diagnosed as a kitten and was fed Science diet KD and wasn't coping.. losing weight, bad breath, bad looking coat.. sad kitten...
Researched into better food and that's how i found Ziwi Peak!
Saw a difference straight away when i changed her to Ziwi Peak. She is a kitten again and sooooo healthy!! A year later and no signs of kidney failure either!
Will never touch anything else for my kitty!

Your wet cat food keeps my cat alive

Your wet cat food keeps my diabetic cat alive - no exaggeration!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  I have shared this success with my vet and he has taken details of the Ziwi food to pass onto other pet owners.

Only the best for my girls!

Only the best for my girls!

I just wanted to compliment your product line. I have three Chinese Crested Hairless that absolutely adore your food. I try to feed them the best, and after extensive research I came across your brand. Being Hairless my girls are very sensitive to skin issues (acne/blackheads) all of which have greatly diminished since switching to your brand. My oldest girl a cancer survivor was recently diagnosed with heart disease at 11 years of age. I want to give her the best quality of everything, and hopefully extend her life. I am very thankful for your brand, and line of products! Thank you!

Hime loves her Ziwi diet
From Chifuyu Hori

- Letter from Chifuyu Hori,  the owner of the cat called Hime, Japan

It is common to see the stray cats near where I live.  My mom and I have seen ups and downs of their lives.  They often brought us trouble.  However in the end, one cat became close to us and we started to share the life.

Neither my mom nor I had lived with a cat in our past life.  And we naturally followed what the vet said and fed the dry food to Hime.  We at first enjoyed looking at her lovely way of crunching the kibbles but soon we turned to wonder if it was the way to continue…

We thought we could just rely on the vet since we had no knowledge about cats.  But it is wired to keep feeding the same dry food of the same shape every day.

Hime used to catch the mice, frogs, and birds and ate various kinds of animals when she had lived as a stray cat.  Why can we feed her only one food?  I was doubtful of the vet’s instructions and decided to challenge the home made diets.  It was a lot of work.  I ordered the raw meats especially for pets online or travelled to many supermarkets looking for the suitable meats and then boiled or grilled or tried many way of cooking.  Hime, however, did not think it really correct.

Then I gave her a Ziwi can food which I have heard of the name before.  Like many other cats, she got excited at first and ate too much and vomited.  It took some time for her to get accustomed to the Ziwi.  But now Ziwi can food is her main diet.

She does not drink much water in summer.  I am, however, very comfortable as she takes sufficient water from the Ziwi can food.

Twinkling eyes and smooth nose, they are unbelievably more beautiful than when she was eating dry food.  She is originally very active but I feel she has got more energetic now.  I left the previous vet and work with a new vet now, who praised Hime’s shiny coat.  I am very happy because her good condition was brought naturally by what she eats and not by any special care afterwards.

Thank you very much for the high quality food.  I confirm that not only we, people, but also animals can build the body from what they eat.  Since cats are closer to the nature than people, they may be more affected by the food.  It is essential to eat what is appropriate to the body in order to thrive and enjoy the long life.  In this end, the Ziwi can food is one of the very limited diets that I am confident to feed to my cat.  Hime gets sometimes tired of the food, however I am happy to watch her content to eat Ziwi.

On behalf of the Ziwi, my mum and I are now free of cooking homemade diets with the concerns of the nutritional insufficiency.  I am free from the frustration that Hime does not eat the food, too and now enjoy the peaceful meal time.  More than anything else, although Hime’s mental condition was stable before, she has got calm and confident now.  I believe that every change was brought by the change of diets.  Thank you very much for your work.

Now Hime can hardly have the healthy and happy life without the Ziwi.  We sincerely appreciate it.  I would like to say thank you to the people in the manufacturer of Ziwi, too.   New Zealand is far away from here but I feel that they are directly making Hime’s health condition.  Thank you again and I will keep feeding Ziwi to have your continued support.

Flourishing on Ziwi

Flourishing on Ziwi

Hi Shelley,

Just letting you know how the fur babies have been going on ziwipeak. It’s been 9 months now and my girl Goldie has been thriving. She was rescued from a horrible puppy farm about 2 years ago at age 3 years old, she has put on about 1kg, her coat has grown so beautiful and long and no more weepy eyes. Pics are before and after, the top one is obviously before. She still has some anxiety issues but gets better all the time. The boy is the same but he didn’t have any issues beforehand. They have the venison and sometimes the mackerel and lamb.

Thanks again for introducing us to the wonderful products.

Your food was recommended by a homeopathic vet that is treating one of my dogs. He initially recommended the raw diet but my dogs were not that keen on it. He then recommended yours which they seem to love. One of them in particular, Molly, a Tibetan Terrier has had ongoing issues with itchy skin, ear problems and she also had eye discharge. So far your venison air dried food has gone down very well with her. She had become quite thin so I'm relieved I've found something she will actually eat rather than sniff and then walk away. It's a relief not to constantly throw food away and worry about her losing weight.

I decided to give all three of my dogs your food and they all seem to love it particularly the lamb and mackerel variety.  Skye, the Coton de Tulear, had gone off all food but now is eating very well.  It's also far less messy than home cooked food and raw food so saves me on the washing up.

I hope they continue to enjoy your food as I know it's very good quality and should be good for their health and well-being. Thanks!

Life changing for my kitten! Thank You!

Life changing for my kitten! Thank You!

A recent letter to our Customer Service Manager, Shelley Yeatman.

Hi Shelley,

In regards to my earlier emails to you about my kitten with kidney failure...I want to give a huge massive thank you to you and your company at Ziwi Peak!

I have literally been in happy tears thanks to Ziwi Peak because my poor kitten was struggling with chronic kidney failure due to complications during her spay leading to another surgery.

She was on Hills KD diet for a couple weeks but didn't seem to get any better...she was just ‘surviving’ so I slowly changed her to Ziwi Peak, adding extra water in her canned food and only gave her the Lamb and Venison varieties. She started putting weight back on, grooming and playing again. Now she eats all flavours of Ziwi Peak, both the can and air dried food. She always eats every bit in one sitting.

My kitten was literally on the verge of dying...and your food has given her her life back, thank you for making such a nutritious food! Thank you!! She now has many more years to come because she is herself again so happy playing all the time! Loving life!

I actually work at City Farmers in Perth, we now stock Ziwi Peak and I recommend it to all of our customers telling them my experience.

I cannot thank your company enough. I have attached a picture of my Yuki for you all to enjoy, she will be a year old in January and it is because of Ziwi peak that she gets to have her first birthday!

Kind regards,

Erin and Yuki

OMG, I have discovered the ULTIMATE dog food!!! I have a Shih Tzu and a Maltese / Shih Tzu. My dogs didn't like dry food at all and sometimes were off of their food for a few days, I couldn't understand why? Well, I've never had my dogs lining up for their dinner ever before, now they are hanging around my legs as I prepare their dinner, wow they love it! All of a sudden the penny has dropped for me, I realized they probably could not digest grains very well and had upset tummies more than not! Thank you guys from my Marley & Zoe, I will not be buying anything else from now on.

Marley is the white dog, she is Maltese / Shih Tzu and is 12. Zoe is 4 and she is mainly Shih Tzu with just a wee bit of Maltese. Also pictured is my granddog Ziggy, a Cavoodle, who is 4.

Cheers Wendy L.
